Ardito Workshop comes to London

On Monday April 9th the Copyright Hub will be hosting its final workshop on digital content and identifiers as part of the EU-funded ARDITO project.

For the past year, the Copyright Hub has been part of this exciting EU initiative to create tools that small businesses can use to better exploit their copyright online.

We have held a number of successful workshops in Barcelona and Rome focusing on different issues facing the creative sectors.

This meeting will be held in London in the context of the London Book Fair, and will showcase the tools that have been developed during the ARDITO project.

Each using Copyright Hub connectivity, they each represent different ways of recognising content and accessing licensing information when found on the Internet. The meeting looks at the tools in the context of existing publishing processes.

Project participants will show how ARDITO tools enable consumers to find out about permissions directly from content they have discovered. They will include Sergi Griñó from Album, Paola Mazzucchi from mEDRA, and Huub van de Pol from Icontact.

There will also be various breakout discussion groups, moderated by recognised industry figures. The Copyright Hub’s Honorary President, Richard Hooper, will close proceedings, after which there will be a few drinks and nibbles and an opportunity to network.

Hope to see you all there!
