Rome workshop success for ARDITO project

The Copyright Hub hosted another successful outreach event, this time at the Rome Book Fair on December 8th.

The gathering was part of the programme of events being held as part of the EU-funded ARDITO project. The project is aimed at providing simple tools and services to support SMEs in the creative content sector to find new business ideas though monetising the re-use of their content.

The Rome event focused on the publishing industry, following the one held in Barcelona earlier this year, which was focused on the audiovisual sector.

Attendees at the event

We were joined by project partners mEDRA (Italy), Album (Spain) and i-Contact (Netherlands), as well as representatives from various Italian and European publishing businesses.

We had some lively discussion on how the ARDITO technology can help open up new revenue streams for publishers at a time of increased competition and shrinking margins.

You can read more about it here.

Our next outreach conference will be held in London in April, so please get in touch if you’d like to attend.
